⭐ ABOUT THE DESIGN

After the popularity of my Juni Starsuit for babies and toddlers, I received many requests for an adult version — and here it is! Inspired by the original toddler design, this adult Starsuit has been carefully adapted to be fully customisable, giving you the perfect fit while keeping the playful starfish vibe you love.

The Starsuit is such a fun and rewarding make, and I’ve also created a separate pattern for the Starsuit Shorts, designed to be worn over the top. This pattern is made to measure, allowing you to customise the fit to your own measurements.

🧶 PATTERN DETAILS

The project begins with creating the central pentagon and two front panels, where a zipper is inserted. From there, we’ll add the arm and leg points to each section. Once the edging is complete, we’ll move on to constructing the hood and assembling all the pieces together.

This pattern also includes optional mittens.

This pattern is best suited to confident beginners or intermediate makers. It’s a bit of a challenge, but a very satisfying build from start to finish.

• 14-16ply / Super bulky / Weight 6 yarn

– Example used: Moda Vera “Blankie” (300g / 150m) in Peach

– Approx. 2.2kg used for size 8–10

• Hook sizes: 8mm and 6mm (6mm optional)

• Needles: Tapestry needle + sewing needle

• Tools & accessories:

– Scissors

– Zipper

– Thread (matching zipper colour)

– Stitch markers

– Foam mat and pins for blocking (optional)
